Serena Williams retires from Roland Garros, where she was supposed to face Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova in the second round of the women's singles draw today. "It's my Achilles tendon that didn't have time to heal after the US Open," the youngest of the Williams sisters, 39, told a press conference.
