(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 01 - An Atlantic disturbance will bring a new wave of bad weather to the northern regions in the next few hours, with rains and thunderstorms from Valle d'Aosta to Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Based on the available forecasts, the Department of Civil Protection has issued a new weather alert which foresees widespread rainfall starting from today evening, which locally may also be very intense and accompanied by stormy weather, lightning and strong gusts of wind, on Liguria and, in extension, on Valle D'Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany.
Storm winds are also expected for Friday on Liguria, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna in extension to Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Lazio.
On the basis of the expected phenomena, the Department evaluated a red alert for Veneto and an orange alert for Liguria and on sectors of Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.
