Hard hit by the health crisis, the French cinema sees the opportunity to recover a windfall of a hundred million euros.
But the US platforms are determined to use all their weight to minimize their future investment obligations.
Proof that the issue is important, the industry has decided, once is not custom, to form a common front.
All the cinema associations have come together in a “task force”.
