"She worked as a flight attendant for several years, and had a good salary," said her lawyer, Paul Cliff.
He added that "Dovra was devastated when she lost her job."
He said that since her arrest, the man she knew had disappeared and she had not been able to contact him.
"One of the most terrible consequences now is that you will never be able to work as a flight attendant again. It was something she really loved," her lawyer added.
"She has no criminal background. She comes from a good family in Romania. If they knew she was involved in this type of affair, it would cause them great grief."
But the judge was not moved by these statements.
"These are high-quality drugs, the consumption of which involves causing a great deal of suffering. You played an important role in the supply chain of the drug," Judge David Fletcher told the flight attendant who will be sent to prison.
