The US presidential election is approaching the decisive date in a few weeks.

One of the most memorable moments in the two candidates' campaign is the televised confrontation - a long-standing tradition on American television.

The Tuesday confrontation was hailed by commentators as "extremely dirty" in the history of U.S. candidate confrontations.

Those of you who watched the confrontation must have noticed that President Trump repeatedly erupted during the confrontation at the words of his rival Biden and prevented him from speaking out, until at some point the other went crazy and exclaimed, "Maybe shut up."

The show's presenter and FOX journalist, Chris Wallace, has often found himself at a loss in front of a pair of candidates.

During the confrontation, Trump even attacked Biden's son, who in turn called Trump a "clown, a liar," and "the worst president in U.S. history."

The manner in which the hearing was conducted did not add respect to America.

Following this, this week the committee responsible for holding the presidential confrontation issued a statement on changes in the format of the two remaining debates (another confrontation is expected between Biden and Trump, and between the deputy candidates).

The main change considered - a sanction of disconnecting microphones, in case one of the participants violates the rules of the confrontation.

In a statement issued by the incident committee, it was explained that the manner in which the confrontation was conducted made it clear to them that new rules should be added to the remaining confrontations - in order to ensure their existence and order in them in the best possible way.

Apparently, in the coming days a statement will be issued regarding the rules that will be customary in other conflicts, and above all, as mentioned, the possibility of disconnecting microphones is being considered.

Trump campaign manager Tim Marteau criticized the committee's expected actions: "They are only doing this because their man panicked. President Trump was the dominant force, and now Joe Biden is trying to influence the referees and change the rules in the middle of the game."

For Biden, Kate Beddingfield, the campaign's deputy director, said the Democratic candidate would "focus on answering voters' questions under any rule the commission's developers have implemented to curb Trump's behavior."

She added: "The president will have to choose between answering questions for which he did not offer any answer in this campaign or repeating the nervous breakdown he demonstrated in the first confrontation."
