“Folks, something's wrong !!!!” An Aldi customer is pissed off - and supports her observation with a photo as evidence.
An
Aldi
customer is pissed off.
The turkey mini steaks we bought weighed just 333 grams, including packaging.
400 are given.
The discounter responds promptly.
Mülheim an der Ruhr - If it says "400g", it should actually contain 400 grams.
Every consumer assumes this.
But an
Aldi
customer wanted to know exactly and took the scales.
She had bought “
fresh turkey mini steaks
” and
something struck
her as strange.
Or rather: too easy!
Aldi Süd: Turkey steaks apparently only weighed 333 grams instead of 400
The assumption was confirmed: the scales showed 333 grams, including packaging, mind you.
The photographic evidence posted the Aldi customer Annica on the
Facebook page
of
Aldi
.
"Hello Aldi, it has been strange to me for a long time, now I have weighed it and my husband has already had the experience ... I feel kidding," she writes.
“Folks, something's wrong !!!!” Your barely concealed accusation is apparently: There is a method.
Aldi Süd responded promptly.
“I am sorry that there is not enough content in the box,” wrote one social media employee.
"From here I will also pass the information on to my responsible colleagues from
purchasing
."
The case was
forwarded
internally and to the
supplier
, Aldi confirmed a day later.
The customer could have brought the meat back to the branch.
Aldi Süd: The customer wants to take scales into the market in the future
But it was too late for that.
"As already mentioned, it was not possible to return it ... the cats were hungry." Apparently she had bought the meat for animals whose stomachs were now missing a few grams of mini steaks.
The annoyed customer sends an announcement afterwards: "I'll take a pair of
scales
with
me when I go
shopping because it wasn't the first time."
