Cohen went on to describe how she received life as a gift for the second time and how that gift came with another keepsake that will accompany her all her life: the scar on her head.
"Sometimes I think why I're," she revealed, "why did this happen? Why were all my childhood memories forgotten to me? Why did I have to forget everything and start over? Why did I have to be hospitalized in rehabilitation for a whole year? Why does my family have to go through such hell? ".
"But Dare came out sweet in the end," Cohen continued.
"I realized that life leads us in certain ways and we have to deal with the consequences and I deal with them every day. This accident is a part of me and it always stays with me. I learned to deal with it and the consequences it left me.
"God takes but God also gives. For 11 years every morning I look in the mirror and see the scar that reminds me of the value of life," she revealed.
"Hopefully my story shows you how everything is possible if you just want to. Nothing defines us. There is no obstacle we can not cross if we just want to. On the contrary. It is what makes us stronger. It is my story and I am proud of it."

Dark added that she has a love-hate relationship with the scar left on her head.

The accident in question in which Cohen almost lost her life, occurred at the age of 8. Cohen rode with her friend on a bicycle without a helmet, deteriorated rapidly in the descent and hit her head hard on a power pole.
The serious accident left her with a serious head injury (the health consequences of which accompany her to this day), from which she was able to recover almost completely, against all medical predictions, after a long period of hospitalization and rehabilitation.
