After a particularly successful binge this past weekend we must recommend a series that every fashionista must see: Emily in Paris

If you are a fashionista who has watched Bing in all the seasons and movies of "Sex and the City", you will be happy to know that the creator of the most iconic and fashionable series of all time, Darren Starr, has created a new series that aired on Netflix last Friday called "Emily in Paris".

The series in question stars the beautiful actress and one of the most successful fashion icons in the world, Lily Collins as "Emily", a young American who is relocating to Paris from the advertising agency where she works from Chicago.

Emily lands in a dreamy and glittering job, where she is tasked with providing the "American perspective" in the advertising campaigns of the Parisian luxury brands, and renewing the company's social media approach.

Beyond a romantic, sophisticated and funny plot, throughout the season there is one thing that stands out, and that is Emily's style and fashion that develops from chapter to chapter to be particularly chic and creative.

All the other characters dress in a unique, fashionable and inspiring way, and all this takes place against the backdrop of the most beautiful city in the world - Paris.

Emily's wardrobe looks like it came straight from the private closet of Blair Waldorf, the star of the 'One Who Knows' fashion series.

It combines boob hats and chic berets, colorful high heels and coquettish and feminine looks.

These include couture dresses, oversized trench coats, buttoned shirts, tailored suits, plaid prints and lots of silk scarves around the neck.

The person in charge of the fashion and style in the series is none other than Patricia Field, the stylist who dressed the characters in "Sex and the City," and made Carrie Bradshaw and the other characters in the series temporary fashion icons.

As well as the characters in the movie "The Devil Wears Prada", "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and more, so you know that great fashion satisfaction awaits you from life.

In an interview with Vogue Field magazine she said, "My goal is to make the characters look the best they can and be happy. I do not think, oh, Carrie Bradshaw can not really afford Manolo Blahnik shoes, or if I can not dress with luxury brands because "It doesn't make sense for the character to buy from there. I dress out of optimism and excitement, which is why I really like romantic comedies. For me, my job is to create very interesting, beautiful, flattering and original looks."

According to Field, the inspiration for Emily's wardrobe was clear in advance.

Field created an inspiration board that consisted of Carrie Bradshaw during a season in Paris in season 6, the actress and fashion muse Audrey Hepburn who according to Field is very reminiscent of Collins both in appearance and physical structure, and from the iconic 1950s film "American in Paris".

At the series' press conference, Field said that Emily's black tulle dress at the launch of the new perfume is a homage to Carrie's pink tulle dress she wore in the final episode of season 6 of "Sex and the City."

Among the prominent brands that Emily wears in the series is the French brand Chanel, which she wears numerous times.

This can be seen in necklaces with the brand logo, one of the trendiest items of last season.

Other brands we have noticed are Christian Louboutin, Christian Cyriano, Vivian Westwood, Fendi, Alice & Olivia, Ghani, Rag & Bone, MSGM, Kenzo and many more.

In the opening episode of the season, Emily even wears a snakeskin miniskirt by Israeli fashion designer Roni Kubo - a great honor.

The couture clothes in the series are also completely real.

In an episode where Emily models a dress by fashion designer Pierre Cordo at the "Americans at the Louvre Museum" donation event, her Pierre Cordo dress is actually a dress by the successful American fashion designer Stephen Roland.

After the filming of the season, Roland sent the dress to the actress as a gift as a souvenir and a thank you note.

The style in the series is so successful that hundreds of fan pages have already been set up on Instagram detailing where each look and item they are wearing comes from, which also includes Emily's cool iPhone cover, an old camera-shaped cover now available for purchase on Amazon.
