US comedian Jim Carrey (58) has turned into the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden (77) for the American sketch show "Saturday Night Live".
Carrey, best known from the movie "The Truman Show", exchanged blows with Hollywood star Alec Baldwin (62), who played Republican Donald Trump (74), in a simulated TV duel on Saturday evening (local time).
Baldwin had already taken on the role of US President last season of "Saturday Night Live".
Now he kept interrupting his challenger and the moderator - just like Trump in the real television debate last Tuesday.
Finally Carrey exclaimed, "Will you just shut up?"
The sentence that Biden threw at Trump has now achieved cult status in the United States.
It means something like: "Would you shut up?"
Later on in the show, actress Maya Rudolph ("Wine Country") took the stage in the role of Kamala Harris, Biden's candidate for vice presidency - and wrested an apology from Baldwin's Trump for his brutal appearance.
