Milly Bobby Brown didn't know if she wanted to continue acting after being turned down for a "Game of Thrones" role.

A rejection of a particularly longed-for job can make people doubt whether they have really decided on the right path and whether they should try something different.
Actress Millie Bobby Brown was apparently in such a situation.
The 16-year-old spoke to Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" about how she almost quit acting.
The reason for this was therefore that she did not get a role in the series "Game of Thrones".
"This industry is full of rejection," the actress said on the show.
There are a lot of rejections before finally an acceptance comes.
When she was rejected for the "Game of Thrones" role, she realized that it would not be easy.
"I think I really wanted this role," she said.
"I was just very discouraged".
She gave her wish a chance: "One of the last attempts was a Netflix production called 'Montauk'."
You have auditioned and been accepted.
The series was later renamed "Stranger Things" - "the rest is history," she said.
That she got the role has given her hope back.
The series became a huge success when it was released in 2016 - and the international breakthrough for the then 12-year-old.
The fourth season of "Stranger Things" is currently being shot.
Because of the corona crisis, the production of the new episodes was initially postponed.
When they will be released is not yet known.
For the first three seasons, the series has been nominated for a total of 39 Emmy Awards (six wins), four Golden Globes and three Grammy Awards.
The plot, which was set in the 1980s with great attention to detail, revolves around a group of children who are friends and who deal with supernatural phenomena.
Millie Bobby Brown has also been seen in the role of Enola Holmes in the film of the same name on Netflix since September.
