Against the background of the apparent halt in morbidity data, the prime minister clarifies that there is no intention to repeat the mistakes made at the end of the first wave • "Some say cautious optimism is forming, but I want to wait at least ten days from the date of the last restrictions" • Corona deaths reached 1,707

"I, like you, celebrated Sukkot without Ushpizin, and I know it is different - but I ask everyone, both ultra-Orthodox and secular, to follow the instructions." , Read.

"The quarantine guidelines are not against you, they are against the virus - and if we all work together, we will win it. I had talks today about the rapid tests, the economy and other issues - working around the clock to beat the virus. Now, there are those who already say they are optimistic. "Caution that the quarantine is already starting to work and flattening the growth curve, I am more cautious than the cautious and want to wait for at least ten days (from the date of its imposition)," he said.

"This means that the decisions on the continuation of the closure after Simchat Torah evening - we will only make on Thursday, and in the meantime we will discuss in the cabinet tomorrow the long-term exit data from the corona, the transition from stage to stage, increasing the elderly population and increasing fines and increasing discipline. "I ask all of you to unite like the four species for the benefit of our people and for the benefit of all citizens of the State of Israel. In the face of the global corona epidemic, we will win."

Yesterday, 2,576 carriers were identified in 25,144 tests

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health this evening released data on the spread of the corona virus as of this hour.

According to the data, 2,576 carriers were identified yesterday in 25,144 tests.

To date, 1,127 carriers have been identified so far in 12,149 tests.

This means that yesterday the percentage of positive answers from all the tests was 11 percent, while today so far the percentage is 10 percent.

This is a relatively significant drop from last week's highs of around 14 percent - and this shows that the closure is currently affecting the spread of the disease.

In terms of the number of people hospitalized, there are 1,668 people, of whom 890 are in critical condition and 215 are respirated.

The number of people in moderate condition is 330 people.

In addition, there are currently 2767 staff members in isolation, of whom 646 are brothers and sisters and 273 are doctors.

The death toll stands at 1,707, with more than a hundred people having died since the beginning of October.

Unfortunately, the victims are a battle of people who became infected before the closure began.

In terms of the number of patients, there was a decrease to less than 70,000 patients, and now the number stands at 69,248, while the number of midwives also stands at 2,608 - a larger number than the number of new patients, which stands at only 1,502 new patients.

In fact, in this respect one can continue to see the downward trend in adhesives.
