The

Ministry of Health of the Nation

reported this Monday that in the last 24 hours 452 deaths from coronavirus were reported and 11,242 new infections were identified.

In the part of the previous day, Sunday, October 4,

7,668 new cases of COVID-19 had been reported

in one day and 223 new deaths.

With those records there were 798,486 positives throughout the country.

So far, the places with the most confirmed cases of coronavirus in Argentina are the Province of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, Santa Fe, Córdoba and Mendoza.

That day, too, it was reported that

2,064,250 diagnostic tests for this disease have been performed

since

the outbreak began

, which is equivalent to 45,491.3 samples per million inhabitants.

Likewise, the percentage of total occupancy of beds in the Adult Intensive Care Unit

is 61.9% in the Nation

and

62.8% in the Metropolitan Area.

Precisely, the

Province of Buenos Aires

continues to lead the list of infections throughout the country with 435,934 followed by the

City of Buenos Aires

with 129,274 positive cases.

According to Clarín last week,

Palermo, Balvanera, Recoleta, Caballito and Almagro

are the Buenos Aires neighborhoods with the most new coronavirus infections.

Together, they concentrate 31% of the positives registered in the last week and are thus the ones that push the curve of cases up the most in the City of Buenos Aires.

Argentina goes through the 29th week

since the quarantine was announced, with the gradual opening of some businesses and activities in the Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.

Regarding the world "ranking" of infections, Argentina is only below the United States, India, Brazil, Russia, Colombia, Peru and Spain.
