Postponements are piling up for American blockbusters, and golden places are appearing for a few opportunists.
Let's take a look back at the date changes that all movie theaters fear.
Permit to defer
Universal's announcement was the last straw for the year 2020.
Dying Can Wait
will only see the light of day on April 2, 2021. James Bond's new mission has been postponed for the second time, resulting in elsewhere the closure of Cineworld cinemas.
Another consequence,
Fast and Furious 9 will
not be back on the road on March 31, 2021 but in May 2021.

American studios have postponed the release of the awaited remake of
Dune
.
Scheduled for December 23 in French theaters, the public will finally have to wait until October 1, 2021 to feel the sand of the planet Arrakis slip through their fingers.
But it is all the Warner programming that is turned upside down.

The Batman
will only be visible on screens in March 2022, instead of the famous October 1, 2021. The bad news is linked then, domino effect obliges.
The Flash
and
Shazam Fury Of The Gods
are postponed to November 2022 and June 2023. And as for
Black Adam

Minecraft
, the two films find themselves without a release date.
On the Disney side, the big-eared firm had already started to clean up its ranks.
The Marvel spin-off,
Black Widow
, is postponed from October 28, 2020 to May 5, 2021, once again shaking up the Marvel superhero calendar.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings
won't hit theaters on July 7, 2021, while
Eternals
won't be released until November 3, 2021.

Initially expected on October 14, 2020, the adaptation of the adventures of Hercule Poirot
Mort on the Nile
is postponed until December 18, 2020. Same punishment for
Hungry
, the horror thriller postponed to February 24, 2021 and
Deep Waters
, another thriller with Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck, slated for August 11, 2021. And just being Spielberg isn't enough to escape the rule.
Its
West Side Story
remake
has been pushed back for a year, from December 16, 2020 to December 8, 2021.
The happiness of some
Among all these postponements, interesting niches are emerging for various and varied films, such as
Aline

The film with Valérie Lemercier lending her features to singer Celine Dion brings its release forward by a small week and will be expected in theaters from November 11, 2020. Likewise for Paul WS Anderson's new production,
Monster Hunter
, an adaptation of the famous game video with Milla Jovovich.
The film, scheduled for April 2021, finally finds a release date in December 2020. Distributed by Memento Films and scheduled for December 2, 2020,
Mandibules,
the new comedy by Quentin Dupieux, will finally hit French theaters on November 18.
