Therefore, a common and shared effort is needed to cope with them". This was stated by Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio at the end of a meeting that took place this morning at the Farnesina with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita. Di Maio underlined that he had "expressed satisfaction with the existing collaboration between the two countries in the area of migration" and reiterated that "Italy will not let the Moroccan authorities fail to fully cooperate in combating criminal networks and human traffickers, also working in Community headquarters to obtain greater political and economic support from the EU for North African countries, including Morocco ".
