(ANSA) - BERLIN, 07 OCT - France and Germany condemn the attack on Alexei Navaklny "with the utmost severity" and announce their intention to propose new sanctions against Russia. This is what emerges from a joint statement by the two foreign ministers, Heiko Maas and Jean Yves Le Drian.
"There is no other plausible explanation for Navalny's poisoning other than Moscow's participation and responsibility," the two ministers say. "France and Germany will draw the necessary conclusions from these circumstances and will submit new sanctions for Russia to European partners." (HANDLE).
