The film director Guillermo del Toro asked Aeromexico to finance ten flights for Mexicans without resources and who require travel.
On the occasion of his birthday, the Guadalajara filmmaker asked the company to join the initiative from 2021, offering flights to prominent Mexicans.
His message received more than 48,000 likes in the first hours after its publication and he quickly placed it as a trending topic this Friday afternoon.

The generosity of the film director has earned him public recognition on several occasions.
In May of last year, Del Toro offered to pay the plane ticket of the 12 members of the team of the Mexican Mathematical Society, in 2018 he financed the trip to Paris of one of his scholarship recipients and in 2017 he covered the cost of the biopsy of a woman in Texas.
In September, Del Toro assured that he will continue to support the new filmmakers after it was announced that the Investment Fund and Film Stimuli Trust (Fidecine) will disappear.
