(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 09 - The auditions, AmaSanremo and the final challenge in the evening of Sanremo Giovani: three stages to arrive on the Ariston stage for the 71st Festival of the Italian Song.
But the competition is great: 61 for those six seats at the Festival and a countdown that begins with the auditions scheduled for 19 and 20 October in Room A in Via Asiago in Rome, Rai Radio headquarters in front of the Musical Commission chaired by Amadeus, as director artistic, and composed by ClaudioFasulo, Gianmarco Mazzi, Massimo Martelli and Leonardo De Amicis.
The division of the 61 potential New Proposals (60 that have passed the first phase of the ratings plus the winner of the Castrocaro Festival) sees 53 individuals (16 women and 37 men) and 8 groups.
The South is leading with 23 participants, followed by the Center with 22 and the North with 15;
instead three minors from Naples (Campania), Rome (Lazio) and Milan (Lombardy).
For the Regions, Lazio dominates the ranking with 15 competing songs, then Campania with 11, Lombardy with 8, Puglia with 5, Emilia Romagna and Sicily with 4, Tuscany and Marche 3, Trentino Alto Adige with 2, Abruzzo-Piedmont- Sardinia-Umbria and Basilicata 1, Estero 1 (Rio De Janeiro-Brazil).
At the end of the 2 days of live auditions, the 20 groups and single artists will be chosen, who will participate in the "semifinals" live, in the broadcast conducted by Amadeus "AmaSanremo", five episodes broadcast on Thursday, at 22.45 on Rai1, from 29 October to November 26.
Only at the end of this path will the 10 finalists of the Sanremo Giovani edition be known, the contest, in prime time on Rai1 on December 17, which will see 10 "under 34" compete to win and win 6 of the 8 available places (2 will come from Area Sanremo) in the category New proposals of the 2021 Festival.
