staged a video call they held a talk to discuss the care of the planet.
Through Instagram, the Colombian shared the video where you can see the conversation she had with the grandson of Queen
Elizabeth II
as part of the Earthshot Prize project.
British royalty will award an award highlighting work done for the benefit of the environment over a 10-year period, and the 43-year-old will be part of the council in charge of choosing the winner.
During the conversation, Shakira shared the importance of caring for the planet's resources for her and assured that she has been in charge of instilling these values in her children, Sasha, 5, and Milan, 7.
In the same way, the singer took the opportunity to invite Prince Harry's brother to visit his native country.
"You have to come to Colombia with me, I will show you my country! It is a very beautiful country. With great environmental diversity, a country that has many challenges ahead, but its people are incredible, they are kind, welcoming," said the interpreter 43 years old.
"My country has a lot of talent, no matter where you look, it is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world," he stressed.
Shakira was also surprised when William confessed that he saw the video in which the Barranquilla demonstrated her skills on the skateboard, so she assured that she had many hobbies.

"I have a great time. I love learning new things regardless of age, it is important to discover new hobbies," he said.
During the talk, the famous woman also stressed the importance of taking advantage of the sensitivity of children to take care of their environment and show them that, together with organizations and the family nucleus, problems can be solved.
"We are all directly affected by the damage. The damage done to our planet is accelerating at a very fast rate. We are in a fight against time right now," he said.
For his part, the son of Princess Diana assured that he had great hope that the award would bring a little optimism to face environmental problems.
In the conversation, William questioned the famous about why she decided to join the fight to protect the environment.
