The Minister of Health of the Nation reported this Saturday that 357 deaths from coronavirus were registered and that 12,414 confirmed cases were detected.
The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Argentina thus amounted to 23,581.
And since March 3, when the first case was identified, 883,882 have tested positive.
Health authorities indicated that 205 of the new deaths are men and 149 are women.
On the eve, President Alberto Fernández again led an act to present the new phase of the quarantine, which will last until October 25 and which will include greater restrictions on circulation in departments of 18 provinces.

"The problem today is not the AMBA (Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires), but it got into all of Argentina," Fernández said.
The president explained that 65 percent of positive cases of coronavirus are currently concentrated in the provinces, as opposed to the beginning of the pandemic, when the vast majority of cases were reported in the AMBA.

The circulation restriction will apply to departments and cities in the provinces of Chaco, Chubut, Buenos Aires, Río Negro, Neuquén, Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Córdoba, La Rioja, Mendoza, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Santiago del Estero , Santa Fe, San Juan and San Luis and the City of Buenos Aires, it was reported from Casa Rosada.
The measure will not be applied in six provinces: Corrientes, Misiones, La Pampa, Entre Ríos, Formosa and Catamarca.
With the new measures, the national government seeks to contain the circulation of the virus after weeks of growth in the number of infections and deaths.
