(ANSA) - SEUL, 10 OCT - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said that there are no cases of Covid-19 infection in his country and wished all coronavirus patients in the world.

Speaking during a military parade, Kim stressed that he was thankful that "not a single person" in North Korea has contracted the coronavirus that has hit the world since it developed in neighboring China.

Pyongyang closed its borders in January to prevent the spread of the virus and has regularly declared that it has no sickness, but in recent months the state media have avoided explicit statements on the matter, emphasizing instead the importance of prevention efforts. (HANDLE).
