The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Sunday that 287 deaths from coronavirus were registered and that 10,324 confirmed cases were detected.

So far, the places with the most confirmed cases of coronavirus in Argentina are the Province of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, Santa Fe, Córdoba and Mendoza.

In recent days there have been record cases in the country and to date there have been 671 thousand recovered, which means 78% of the total infected.

One thing to consider is the occupation of intensive care beds.

In AMBA it reaches 63%, while in Nation it is located at 62 points.

During Saturday afternoon, President Alberto Fernández again led an act to present the new phase of the quarantine, which will last until October 25 and which will contemplate greater restrictions on circulation in departments of 18 provinces.

"The problem today is not the AMBA (Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires), but it got into all of Argentina," Fernández said.

The president explained that 65 percent of positive cases of coronavirus are currently concentrated in the provinces, as opposed to the beginning of the pandemic, when the vast majority of cases were reported in the AMBA.

The circulation restriction will apply to departments and cities in the provinces of Chaco, Chubut, Buenos Aires, Río Negro, Neuquén, Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Córdoba, La Rioja, Mendoza, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Santiago del Estero , Santa Fe, San Juan and San Luis and the City of Buenos Aires, it was reported from Casa Rosada.

The measure will not be applied in six provinces: Corrientes, Misiones, La Pampa, Entre Ríos, Formosa and Catamarca.

With the new measures, the national government seeks to contain the circulation of the virus after weeks of growth in the number of infections and deaths.
