The Champigny-sur-Marne police station was targeted by fireworks mortar fire and attacked with iron bars during the night from Saturday to Sunday.
About forty individuals attacked the building and tried in vain to enter it.
The incidents left no injuries but five cars were vandalized and eight mortars were found soon after.

The Minister of the Interior reacted to the events on Sunday morning on Twitter: "The little guys do not impress anyone and will not discourage our work in the fight against narcotics", he denounced before giving his support to the police . The police station is regularly the target of vandals. Last April, he had already been the target of spectacular mortar fire two nights in a row.
