The cast announced and the first official photos of Alfredino released - An Italian story, the miniseries on the facts of Vermicino, the story that forty years ago moved Italy live on TV.

Produced by Sky and Marco Belardi for Lotus Production (a Leone Film Group company), the series tells the story of little Alfredo Rampi, who fell into an artesian well in June 1981. A hard stone left in the heart of an entire country, a trauma collective that this series wants to tell animated by the hope of helping to elaborate and overcome it.

A painful event that belongs to the historical memory of Italy and from which, however, something precious arose: the story of Alfredino gave a decisive impulse to the establishment of the Civil Protection as we know it today, and thanks to the determination of Franca Rampi the Alfredo Rampi Center was created, with the aim of preventing others from suffering what they suffered.

In the series, alongside Anna Foglietta, already announced in the role of Alfredino's mother, Mrs. Franca Rampi, the cast consists of: Francesco Acquaroli is the commander of the fire brigade Elveno Pastorelli;

Vinicio Marchioni plays Nando Broglio, the firefighter who tried to keep Alfredo company and motivate during those terrible hours;

Luca Angeletti is Alfredo's father, Ferdinando Rampi;

Beniamino Marcone in the role of Marco Faggioli, one of the firemen who rushed to the scene of the tragedy;

Giacomo Ferrara is Maurizio Monteleone, the second of the speleologists who tried to recover the baby;

Valentina Romani will play the geologist Laura Bortolani;

Daniele La Leggia is Tullio Bernabei, foreman of the group of speleologists and the first to descend into the well;

and Riccardo De Filippis in the role of Angelo Licheri, "the Angel of Vermicino", the last to descend into the well and try to save Alfredo;

Massimo Dapporto will be the then President of the Republic Sandro Pertini.

The four episodes directed by Marco Pontecorvo are scripted by Barbara Petronio - also creative producer - and Francesco Balletta.

Alfredino - una storia italiana is an original Sky series produced by Marco Belardi for Lotus Production, a Leone Film Group company.

It will be broadcast soon on Sky and streamed on NOW TV.
