Now a new study is finally shedding light on the dark.

Wiltshire - Hardly any other place is so shrouded in mystery as

Stonehenge

The stone circle in the south of

England

has magically cast a spell over people for centuries.

It is unclear how long the 4 meter high and 2 meter wide

stones

stand in the small town of Wiltshire and what they mean.

It is also unclear how the rocks, some of which weigh 25 tons, got on the spot.

Researchers from the

University of Brighton

have now gathered new information about the origin of the rocks and thus uncovered one of the many mysteries surrounding Stonehenge.
