A disturbing position paper from the National Security Agency published today (Friday) raised concerns that mutations in the corona virus will lead to negative results in tests and thus carriers will not be identified.
According to this information, the mutations may impair the sensitivity of the pen tests.
AMN's recommendation is to monitor the development of new strains of the corona in Israel by performing genetic sequencing from the samples and to monitor the validity of the test kits.
