Ricciardi alarm on tracking.
'The local health authorities are no longer able to track infections, the virus containment strategy is not working.
The situation is very serious, the regions are moving towards the loss of control of the infections'.
Ricciardi points out some points on which he reflects: targeted closures in regions where the contagion index is higher than 1, for aggregation points such as clubs, gyms, and non-essential exercises, while smart working should become the ordinary form of work in all over the country.
Arcuri accuses the Regions: 'before Covid there were 5,179 intensive therapies and now 6,628 are active but we had to have another 1,600 which are already available in the individual regions but are not yet active'.
Anesthetists alarm
- In ten regions, the maintenance of intensive care is particularly at risk, it is close to the maximum threshold set by the Ministry of Health of 30% of places dedicated to Covid patients occupied.
But he is alert in all regions: "there is a risk, in the short term, of a saturation of Covid places if the trend of infections does not change".
The picture comes from the national president of anesthesiologists, Alessandro Vergallo, who speaks of a return of pressure, with the fear that we can return to the dramatic situation of the first epidemic phase.
