2020-10-16T08:13:06.413Z

The government asks them to set up a minimum number of telework days per week, especially in areas where the curfew applies.

Faced with the resurgence of the Covid-19 epidemic, companies will also have to adapt their health protocol.

The government, which is due to publish a new version of this protocol this Friday, asks them to set up a minimum number of days of telework, especially in areas where the curfew applies.

We will ask companies to define a minimum number of days of teleworking per week and also to stagger arrivals and departures.

We ask companies to discuss it,

”explained the Minister of Labor, Élisabeth Borne, invited Friday morning on Public Senate.

The minister specified however that teleworking was already well applied by companies and "very effective".

As proof, in Ile-de-France for example, she specified that “

the number of employees working from home has increased a lot.

The use of transport in Ile-de-France is down by 40% compared to last year

”.

The government does not intend to impose a number of working days in distancing.

"

A compromise must be found between teleworking, its interest in reducing social interactions, but also taking into account this need for collective work in the workplace and paying attention to the psychological risks for employees

", in the face of isolation, said the Minister .

On Wednesday, during his television interview, Emmanuel Macron had recommended “

two to three days of teleworking per week

” in companies where this is possible, to “

reduce collective pressure a little

”.

According to the draft protocol of which AFP has obtained a copy and which is to be published this Friday, teleworking remains “

recommended in that it participates in the process of preventing the risk of infection with SARS-CoV-2 and allows limit social interactions around workplaces and on home-work journeys

”.

As such, in areas subject to curfew, “

employers set, within the framework of local social dialogue, a minimum number of teleworking days per week for positions that allow it.

They are also invited to do so in other areas.

They ensure that links are maintained within the work group as well as the prevention of psycho-social risks

”.

In addition, and in areas subject to curfews, employers adapt the hours of presence in order to smooth out crowds at peak times.

They are also invited to do so in other areas

”.

New rules to be applied in collective catering

In the public service, administrations will have to set up an organization allowing two to three days at a distance per week, the government announced Thursday.

For the territorial civil service, the minister "

invites

" these administrations "

to do the same for the positions for which it is possible

".

In addition, a practical sheet will be distributed "

in the coming days

" on the rules to be applied in collective catering, she added on LCI.

The draft protocol, which continues to impose the wearing of a mask in business, also indicates that "

the employer ensures compliance with barrier gestures during moments of conviviality bringing together employees in the professional context

".
