AZ Alkmaar, the Dutch rival of Napoli next Thursday, 22 October, for group F of the Europa League announced that they have found nine cases of positivity to Covid-19 within the team group.
"Nine coronavirus infections were detected last Friday - it is written in a note from the club -, involving three employees and six players. The people in question went into solitary confinement".
The match against Napoli is not at risk at the moment, because Uefa regulations require the presence of at least 13 players to play the match regularly and AZ have them.
Meanwhile, in a league match, the Alkmaar club drew 2-2 at home to Venlo on matchday five of the Eredivisie. For AZ they scored Karlsson and Stengs. The line-up of coach Arne Slot rises in the standings to 4 points at -7 from leaders Twente. (HANDLE).
