Among the demonstrators who were attacked last night (Saturday) with pepper spray, during the demonstrations against the government in Tel Aviv, are also Adi Gilat, the wife of the musician Yahli Sobol, and his daughter Rona.

This morning, a member of the band Monica Sex shared his friends and followers on Facebook with the event: "Rona, my 12-year-old daughter, was attacked by tear gas yesterday by a scooter rider, while walking with my wife Adi and her brother in a demonstration at the corner of Nordau and Ibn Gvirol streets," Sobol wrote.

"The sprayer was a 19-year-old guy in a 'Walt' uniform who was traveling among the protesters. For about fifteen minutes Rona could not open her eyes and suffered a severe burn in the eyes. Luckily she had a MDA team who treated her quickly and devotedly, and even a policeman stopped the sprayer and took him into custody." .

Sobol went on to address the significance of the act, and the environment that enabled and even summoned him.

"What really brought about this cowardly and degrading act is the incessant incitement against the protesters," he wrote.

"She is the one who put the container in the hands of the guy and told him 'go'. The atmosphere of promiscuity and irresponsibility that prevails in the country hurts all citizens of the country in a variety of areas, and yesterday also hurt my daughter. When she came home and asked her if she wanted us to say something about the case, she said she wanted Tell people not to be afraid to leave because of what happened to her. So this is our message: We will not be deterred, and neither will you be deterred by the cowardly thugs. Go out and demonstrate. I am sure that like the tear gas that faded and disappeared after fifteen minutes, this evil government will soon disappear. "Her burn will pass sometime. Yesterday she took another small step towards the end."

Gilat herself also wrote this morning about the incident.

"Rona could not open her eyes for 15 minutes, mine looked like an eternity," she wrote on her Facebook account.

"After a dedicated and gentle treatment by an MDA medic who arrived at the scene, she opened her eyes and her smile returned to her face .... Tonight they were hit with a mental pity.

Hit my 12-year-old daughter.

It hurt my personal confidence to go with my children to demonstrate.

It happens when the police are afraid to fulfill their role.

More and more cases of violence against protesters in the last year and only one indictment has been filed?

But is it possible?

It is possible that the corrupt government is trying to sow fear in the people.

Walla did not succeed with you with us.

"I spent the night with the police," Gilat added.

"I filed a complaint and, with the help of my brother, located the eyewitnesses and other people who were injured. I am monitoring the treatment until the verdict is exhausted. Maybe they will soon be able to report that two indictments have been filed, out of dozens."

Eight suspects were arrested yesterday on suspicion of spraying pepper gas at protesters in the area of Kiryat Hamishla in Tel Aviv, and later along Kaplan Street and other areas in the city.
