But when will the remaining episodes appear?

"Star Trek: Discovery": Why doesn't Netflix show all episodes of season 3 at once?
Netflix users who enjoy watching series on the platform already know that new seasons usually appear entirely in one day.
There are exceptions, however, including the teen drama “Riverdale” or the 2020 sci-fi hit “Snowpiercer”.
The
new episodes of "Star Trek: Discovery"
will also be released gradually.
But why is that?
Although the production
is labeled
as a
"Netflix series"
, the streaming service does not commission new episodes.
Instead, the US broadcaster
CBS
produces
the series, while Netflix has only secured the rights for international broadcasting.
New episodes therefore start initially on American television and appear one day later on the streaming giant's platform.

The day after a new episode of
"Star Trek: Discovery"
premieres on CBS, the individual episodes appear on Netflix.
In the USA, the series therefore started on October 15, 2020 - in Germany, however, not until October
16, 2020
.
A new episode is added every week.
