The Cdp Group supports companies to encourage the development of human capital with two accelerators: Business Platform and Digital Xcelerator.
The Minister of Economic Development, Stefano Patuanelli, speaking at the presentation press conference, underlined the importance of new training tools, not only for workers, but also with respect to managerial culture and the skills of entrepreneurs.
"In a world that is accelerating more and more towards digital services, it is necessary that our jagged world of small business is able to follow what happens in the profound transformations we are experiencing. This is the issue that we must face more concretely", declared minister.
"We wanted to ensure that the intervention of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti was not limited only to the financial sphere", explained the CEO of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Fabrizio Palermo.
"For this reason - he added - we wanted to launch these new accelerators: we want to support human capital in terms of strategies, managerial development, innovation and digital transformation".
While the president of CDP, Giovanni Gorno Tempini, highlighted how "an articulated system of accelerators in Italy is one of the conditions to allow the country to move on increasingly consolidated venture capital grounds, in order to reach a level of diffusion of new entrepreneurship that is comparable with what we observe in our benchmarks, other large European countries "such as France, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Business Accelerator is a professional services platform for the growth of high-potential companies.
They receive targeted personalized advice and access forty professional services from international consulting firms and training centers of excellence as well as a network of companies and other realities.
The program stems from the experience of "Officina Italia", the laboratory with over 200 Italian companies for the search for innovative and system solutions to support Italian companies.
In the laboratory, the four thematic areas at the center of the project have been identified: strategic consultancy, to define and implement strategic growth plans;
managerial selection and training, to develop and strengthen the professional skills of key company resources;
digital transformation, to optimize processes and reduce the risks associated with the use of digital technologies;
Tax & Legal, to improve financial communication and receive support in the certification and scouting of subsidized loans.
The initiative will also allow access to networking events such as "Officina Italia" attended by entrepreneurs, business schools and professionals, as well as specially organized business matching events.
Digital Xcelerator is, on the other hand, the first free e-learning platform for Italian start-ups, existing and still in the process of being set up.
The platform offers 200 startups free training courses every year, with over 120 courses to provide adequate tools and techniques to face the market and develop entrepreneurial skills.
