(ANSA) - MILAN, 20 OCT - 'Parallel Worlds' is the title of the first solo album by Fabrice Pascal Quagliotti of the Rockets.
The French musician who with his band, the progenitor of space-rock, has sold millions of albums, makes his debut in a solo version also experimenting in areas far from those approached up to now, between electronic explorations, worlds of space and references to figures such as David Bowie and Gagarin.
"It was already 4-5 years - he said - that I wanted to make an album by myself. This project was born a bit by chance when Roy Tarrant, my record company, listened to some instrumental samples I had recorded and pushed me to proceed in this one. The lockdown, which I spent in Como surrounded by greenery, gave me a lot of time to devote myself to my music and gave me the opportunity to have the free mind to be able to do a research on the sounds and then go to compose the album exactly as I imagined it. ".
From 'Alchemy' to 'Walk Away', via 'So Long MajorTom', 'Princess', 'Friend', 'Renaissance' and the other inscaletta tracks, the album is also a journey through worlds known and famous musicians.
"I tried to create a journey full of atmosphere - said the musician - through a universe of sounds that touch a very wide imaginary.
I have always been passionate and fascinated by space and life in space. On the record there is a song entitled 'Hubble Space Telescope 'dedicated to the flying observatory launched in 1990 by NASA and ESA and there is a song dedicated to the great Russian astronaut and national hero, Yuri Gagarin. The
album also includes "So Long Major Tom" inspired by David Bowie . I think that David Bowie is a great artist, not only in the musical field but at 360 degrees, a great researcher also in aesthetics ".
