Yuval Dayan's new song, "The Sky Keeps", continues its stylistic line that she has been loyal to for eight years | Music

The singer's new song, "The Sky Keeps", continues its stylistic line • This is a precise artist, who chose not to turn in poppy directions, and this is a very right choice

Sometimes it's hard to digest the fact that Yuval Dayan has been with us for eight years.

In less than a decade, the singer has gone from being an unknown "De Weiss" contestant (who dared to retire at the peak) to one of the best performers in Israeli music, and all this even before she reached the age of 26.

In this respect, Dayan is in a perfect position in terms of appealing to a wide range of ages.

On the one hand - a mature audience perceives from it what one likes to define as "mature for her age" (or simply: a mature artist).

The younger ones, on the other hand, identify with the fact that she is not that far from their age.

From a quality and rare representation of her generation in the local playlists.

These features are exactly what made her the worthy choice for the creation of "Sky Guard", her new single which is also the theme song of the new youth series "Bat Policeman".

Just try to think of someone better suited to musically accompany a thriller about a girl who witnessed a murder and is hiding in an ultra-Orthodox family home - for all the personal and social aspects that this implies.

Add to that Dayan's well - publicized approach to religion and her statements on the subject, and her choice to sing the story of the series seems obvious.

"The Sky Keeps" is true to Dayan's familiar line of work.

He is a graduate, very Israeli.

The kind of songs that blend in great with the popular soundtrack in our radio districts for about two decades.

If you're the kind of person who shivers just thinking about it - that's your full right, but it also means that you're not really the audience that Yuval Dayan is targeting.

Despite her young age, she is an accurate artist, who has chosen not to turn in poppy directions (to which colleagues of her generation turn) and this choice turns out to be the most correct one.

"The Sky Keeps" expresses its spiritual place in life right now (thanks to words written by Dana Schatz) and gives way to her recognizable beating voice.

Add to that the production of Guy Menach, the half duo "Guy Vihel" (and himself a musician coming out "De Weiss") and you have here a recipe for another beautiful song, in an impressive and uniform stylistic repository that crystallizes for Yuval Dayan.
