(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 20 - There are five appointments with the broadcast "AmaSanremo", conducted by Amadeus, at 22.45 on Rai1 and Radio2, from Thursday 29 October to Thursday 26 November.
For 20 young artists it will be time to unleash their best weapons, voice, words and music, and try the big leap towards Sanremo: first in the final of Sanremo Giovani on 17 December from the Teatro del Casinò, in the early evening and always indirectly on Rai1, and then at the Theater Ariston, in the "Nuoveproposte" category of the 2021 Festival (2-6 March).
The stage path of the 2020 edition of the Rai1 contest - explains Rai in a note - will bring only 10 of them, in the final of 17 December, to win the 6 places up for grabs for the New Proposals section of the 2021 Festival and they will add 2 artists from the AreaSanremo selection.
These 8 young artists will be on the stage of the Ariston Theater, to arrive until Friday 5 March, the penultimate episode of the Sanremo Festival, when the winning song of the New Proposals category will be known.
The names of the 20 semifinalists, protagonists of AmaSanremo, were communicated by the artistic director Amadeus (with him in the Musical Commission Claudio Fasulo, Gianmarco Mazzi, Massimo Martelli and Leonardo De Amicis) after the live auditions of the 60 selected among the 961 enrolled in Sanremo Giovani (to whom the winner of the Castrocaro Festival was added by right), on 19 and 20 October.
