(ANSA) - NEW YORK, OCTOBER 20 - The United States officially launches an antitrust action against Google, accused of having a dominant position. The action of the Department of Justice is destined to open a legal war between Washington and Silicon Valley and represents the largest antitrust action in recent decades.
Documents filed by the Department of Justice show that 11 US states have also joined the antitrust action against Google. The action of the American authorities follows the report of the Congress which accused the big names of SiliconValley of monopoly and indicated the need to make changes, including their possible stew.
