(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 21 - At the end of September the complaints to INAIL of contagion at work exceeded 54,000 units (54,128) with an increase of 1,919 complaints compared to the end of August. Inail refers in its Report, underlining that 319 deaths were reported, 16 more than at the end of August (mostly the deaths are distributed between March and April, with no case in September) The 54,128 reported cases are equal to about 15% of the complex of reports of accidents at work received at the beginning of the year, with an incidence of 17.2% compared to the total of national infections communicated by the Higher Institute of Health (ISS) on the same date and concentrated mainly in the months of March (51.2 %) and April (33.8%). Compared to the previous monitoring, carried out at 31 August, there are 1,919 more reports, of which 1,127 relating to infections that occurred in September and a further 792 in the previous months, due to the consolidation of the data.
