The expansion pass for the double edition “Pokémon Sword and Shield” brought the first DLC into play with “The Isle of Armor *”.

The adventures of the trainers are again shifting to a new region, where many new Pokémon and opponents are waiting.

Owners of the "sword" edition must purchase the appropriate expansion pass - the "shield" players must also select the correct version.
If you buy the wrong expansion for your edition instead, you
will not be able to play it

Nintendo Support added that gamers will not go wrong simply
purchasing
the Expansion Pass directly on the Nintendo Switch console in-game using
the banner in the lower right corner of the game menu

The link would therefore automatically lead to the correct version in the Nintendo eShop.

No money back for wrong purchases
Unfortunately, there are also
no refunds
for mistaken purchases, explains Nintendo.
The website clearly states: "We are unable to issue refunds or exchanges for purchases made by mistake".
