French events risk big in international competition

Yet at the forefront, French companies believe that they are not sufficiently considered by the public authorities.


France's strengths in events have been severely tested by the crisis.

2019 had been an exceptional vintage.

2020 promises to be the year of all dangers.

On the one hand, domestic activity has plunged.

But the international crisis is also harming our champions of the sector, who benefit - in normal times - from 7 million business tourists (out of 90 million visitors per year).

In a normal year, France is home to 1,200 fairs and exhibitions, 2,800 congresses, 380,000 business events which generate around 20 billion euros in spinoffs…
