In the video: How do you recruit employees for coveted jobs in the days of Corona?

(Walla! NEWS Studio)

The uncertainty of the Corona period has led to quite a few difficulties in the business sector, including in the field of recruiting workers in the high-tech industry.

In order to understand the situation and the changes that have been made to deal with it, Zohar Binyamin, the global customer manager of the Experis IT division, who is responsible for technology recruitment at Experis Israel, came to Ulpan.

"Experis has a number of business lines," Benjamin explained.

"Cyber protection services, retraining and training for academics in the fields of high-tech, construction and project management in full and we, Experis IT, who are engaged in recruitment, placement and outsourcing in the technological worlds."

The company, which has about 50 branches around the world, works with a wide range of customers such as high-tech companies and start-ups, banks, government offices and more.

"It is still impossible to know exactly where things will go," Benjamin added, "but we have seen that in the summer months, despite the increase in morbidity and the second wave, there is a stabilization in the number of open jobs in the high-tech market.

In fact, says Benjamin, today these companies are moving to much more flexible models.

If in the past outsourcing was more common among global customers, now it happens in small companies too "and it makes sense because it saves a lot of resources in recruiting. We continue to recruit employees in the placement model and when there are no standards we allow these companies to recruit people through us in the outsourcing model ".

And what's going on in Experis at this time?

"We have taken it one step further, to give customers flexibility and combine the two models. We will recruit and locate employees and outsource them, and once a company opens a relevant standard, it has the option to choose whether to outsource or move to the placement model."

Who are the companies most at risk in this crisis?

"Start-ups, which unfortunately if they fail to raise the capital they need now, will not survive. The high-tech market is of course directly affected by the situation in the world."

How are you at Experis prepared to deal with recruitment during the closure period, which is challenging for everyone?

How do you interview candidates?

"It is surprising to see how easy it is today to conduct a full recruitment process remotely. From the beginning of the crisis until today we have recruited over 300 high-tech and technology people. Our relationships with clients are long-term, with in-depth knowledge that helps us identify and locate the right candidates. The right one. "
