Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan launched the website for their non-profit organization.

Half a year ago, the couple announced that they would found an organization called "Archewell" for social projects.

On the simply designed page archewell.com, users are invited to register by e-mail in order to receive news.

A postal address in Los Angeles is given as the contact.

In addition, the beige and black website provides a definition of the ancient Greek word "ark" as a source of action and "well" as a rich source or supply.

Further information is not yet available on the website.

According to previous reports, several projects are planned under the umbrella of the organization, including emotional support groups and multimedia educational programs.

Podcasts, books and films could also be sold under the new brand.

In addition, initiatives with a focus on topics related to health and general well-being are being considered.

New home in Santa Barbara

"We look forward to launching 'Archewell' when the time is right," said the couple at the time.

The name combines the ancient Greek word for strength and action with the reference to "deep resources on which we must rely," it said.

Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, broke away from the British royal family at the end of March.

They first lived in Canada and then moved to Southern California with their son Archie, who was born in May 2019.

In the past few weeks, the couple have videotaped several times from their Santa Barbara home.

They recently spoke to Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai about educational opportunities for girls.

According to Yousafzai, almost 130 million girls were out of school even before the corona crisis, and the pandemic put the education of a further 20 million girls at risk.

Duchess Meghan spoke about her visits to India and Rwanda on behalf of charities, where she had experienced girls' educational needs.

The privilege of going to school is often taken for granted, she said.

In September, Meghan and Harry called on US citizens to cast their votes in the November presidential election.

"Every four years we hear the same thing that this is the most important choice of our life," says Duchess Meghan.

"But it really is," she emphasized with a view to the November 3rd election.

The native American, who is considered a critic of President Donald Trump, had already participated in the call for elections by the non-profit organization "When We All Vote" in mid-August.
