tricks
, it's easy to get rid of stink bugs reliably.
Offenbach - When it gets colder in autumn, various insects find their way into houses and apartments.
Even the unpleasant
stink bug
would prefer to overwinter dry and warm.
Apart from its smell, the stink bug is harmless, but it can quickly become a nuisance in the home.
But with a few simple tricks and tips you can get them back out of the apartment or even prevent them from coming in.
Trick 1: Seal leaks to keep the stink bugs from getting in
There are often leaks, especially in the attic.
These leaks allow
stink bugs
to enter the house quickly and unnoticed.
With a
sealant
or silicone
the leaks are quickly eliminated.
Both silicone and sealant are inexpensive in hardware stores.
Trick 2: Fly screens and door seals against stink bugs
Fly screens and door seals also reliably help
prevent
stink bugs
from
entering
.
A positive side effect: other insects and pests also stay outside.
There are also glue traps for the windowsill in the hardware store.

Trick 3: Prevent the stink bug from entering with insecticide and vinegar essence
Insecticides
on outer walls ensure that
stink bugs
prefer to fly on.
It doesn't have to be a chemical insecticide.
With 125 ml of water, 60 ml of vinegar and 30 ml of dishwashing detergent in a spray bottle, you can easily make your own insecticide that helps just as well as ready-made sprays from specialist retailers.

Trick 4: Don't suck in or crush stink bugs
Stink bugs give off
their gross odor when they panic.
If they are caught with a vacuum cleaner, for example, they give off their stench, which can still
stink
days later
.
It gets worse when the marbled
stink bugs are
crushed.
Instead of killing the animals, it is better to
capture
them in an animal-friendly way with a
glass
and a sheet of paper and then release them outside.
