Two years after leaving the audiovisual production group Banijay, to direct all the programs and channels of the France Télévisons group, Takis Candilis is back.
“But in the meantime, Banijay has almost tripled its volume of activity with the acquisition of Shine Endemol and has become the world number one in production,
” underlines Takis Candilis.
Producer at heart, the latter directed the fictions of the TF1 group, before taking the head of Lagardère Studio, then taking charge of the fiction division of Banijay and finally taking the role of number two of France Télévisions until last September.
At the head of the programs of the French public audiovisual group, he contributed to the launch of co-productions of European series within an alliance bringing together other major public services on the continent, the German ZDF and the Italian RAI.
