Hours earlier, President Alberto Fernández announced that the new phase of isolation and social distancing

will be extended for another two weeks

, until November 8, focused mainly on eight provinces, in addition to the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires (AMBA).

It is that San Luis, Mendoza, Salta, Tucumán, Neuquén, Santa Fe, Río Negro and Córdoba concentrate 55% of the infections in the national territory.

In addition, this type of service strives "to have high levels of vaccination, encourages women to have a mammogram or a Pap smear, encourages adults to have frequent cardiac check-ups, makes contraceptive methods available, and guarantees access to medications." .

For Sabignoso, the primary health care strategy "is the main one to control the pandemic" of Covid-19.

"When we talk about testing, tracking, isolating, caring, we are talking about primary health care, when we insist on hand washing, maintaining distance, we are talking about primary health care," he added.
