Eva Mendes is considering returning to the film business after a six-year hiatus from acting - but apparently has special demands on the roles she would take on.

At least that is what her statements on the Australian radio program "Fitzy & Wippa" suggest.

"The list of things I would do just keeps getting shorter," she said.

"I don't want to do anything violent. I don't want to do anything daring. I think the only thing left is Disney."

In addition, she does not want to uphold certain stereotypes.

Ryan Gosling - her significant other - just needs to direct another movie and then hire her, Mendes joked.

"I never wanted to have babies until I fell in love with Ryan"

Her last film was Gosling's directorial debut "Lost River", which came out in 2014.

In the same year Mendes had their first child, two years later their second.

"I never wanted to have babies until I fell in love with Ryan," said the 46-year-old.

"So it came about that I made a career and then focused on my family."

However, she does not want to send false messages to young women when it comes to putting his career on hold.

It is "not an either-or situation".

Mendes and Gosling have two daughters: Esmeralda Amada, six, and Amada Lee, four.

The two met in 2011 while filming the film "The Place Beyond the Pines".
