(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 23 - Italians are the most distrustful of the EU. In the months of the pandemic, trust in EU institutions dropped to 28%, reaching the lowest level in Europe. It emerges from the latest Eurobarometer of the EU Commission.
Compared to the last survey of autumn 2019, the confidence of Italians has dropped by ten percentage points.
Asked about their satisfaction with the EU measures against the pandemic, 58% of Italians said they were 'dissatisfied', scoring the fourth worst result in the EU. After Italians, the lowest levels of confidence are recorded in France (30%) and Greece (32%). The peaks are instead observed in Ireland (73%) and Denmark (63%). (HANDLE).
