The Ministry of Health has added 19,851 new infections this Friday and has notified 231 deaths to the official count. In total 1,046,132 people have been infected and 34,752 have died since the beginning of the pandemic, according to official data provided by Health. Catalonia, La Rioja, Extremadura, Asturias, the Basque Country and Melilla request the Government to declare a state of alarm. Castilla y León has announced that this Saturday a curfew begins from ten at night to six in the morning. The community has supported the measure in the Public Health Law, which "allows to limit rights." The President of the Government has appeared to appeal to "social discipline" and "resistance" to stop the advance of the pandemic.
