(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 23 - The conviction remains of 6 years in prison for the former mayor of Rome, Giovanni Alemanno, involved in one of the strands of the maxi-investigation of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office on the Mezzo World.
The appeals judges reiterated the accusation system against the former mayor who has been charged with the crimes of corruption and illicit financing.
The Attorney General Pietro Catalani had instead requested a reduction of the sentence to three years and 6 months asking only to recognize the crime of corruption.
