(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 23 - Nigerian President MuhammaduBuhari said that 69 people were killed during the protests against police brutality that shook the country, including civilians, police officers and soldiers.
She reports BBC.
At least 56 people have died since the protests began, including 12 protesters killed in Lagos on Tuesday, AmnestyInternational reported earlier this week.
But the military denied it by speaking of 'fake news'.
