It's a boon for the co-owners.
They will be able to benefit from a big boost for their energy saving work: up to 3,750 euros per home, as part of the new government scheme MaPrimeRénov '“co-ownership”.
This assistance is now open to everyone, donor or occupant, and regardless of income level.
Another novelty is that the aid is paid directly to the union.
“These are real changes and it will make decisions easier.
In some residences, this bonus represents large amounts ”
, emphasizes Olivier Safar, in charge of these issues at the United union.
To trigger the aid, the owners will have to undertake a series of works - insulation of the walls, the facade… - allowing to achieve at least 35% of energy savings.
It is the date of decision in the general assembly - and not the date of completion of the work - that counts.
