The PS, in these days, are besieged by patients with symptoms of Covid-19 and there are lines of ambulances waiting". This was stated to ANSA by the president of the Italian Society of Emergency Medicine (Simeu) Salvatore Manca. The Covid departments, he says, "are full and the PS are becoming a 'parking' for these patients even for 3-5 days. We are assisting everyone but there is a lack of doctors and nurses. We can't handle it anymore".
